The farm
It started on Stepney Hill.
Stepney Hill Farm sits in the quiet country above Scarborough. It's a working farm of sheep, dry stone walls, hedgerows and weather. The first of our stays was built here, in a corner of a field, with a view of the valley.
Our sheep
A small flock, a long memory.
Sheep have shaped this landscape for centuries, and they still shape ours. They are why our brand carries one — a quiet reminder of where we come from, and of the slower rhythm we want our guests to feel.
Our vision
A collection across the Yorkshire Coast.
In time, The Stepney Collection will grow — carefully — from the farm out towards Whitby, Filey and Bridlington. Always small, always considered, always rooted in somewhere specific.
